Hola, hi! I’m Brittney Monique Walker, a Los Angeles native, who moved to Brooklyn, NY and now living in Phoenix, AZ. I’m is a storyteller and communications specialist with more than a decade of experience bringing to life the messages, stories and missions of non-profit organizations, elected officials, small businesses and more. It all started at a CBS Radio affiliate in Los Angeles where I loved my work, but discovered the corporate life was not quite my speed. I learned that I wanted to be closer to the folks I cared most about and wanted to do work that seemed life changing. I became a reporter and the rest is history… in the making. These days I consult, host storytelling workshops, curate live events, work alongside some pretty dope people, living my best life in my second round of grad school and inconsistently publishing essays about my life. I’m also an aspiring beekeeper and I love to travel and the outdoors. Enjoy exploring the site! I look forward to meeting you.

RESEARCH & LEARNING
My research interests are in sexuality and freedom. I’m exploring what freedom means and how it can be actualized through sexuality.
